Gallery, London. 8vo. 26 B/W reproductions and B/W photograph of the artist on frontispiece. 24pp. Stiff card wrappers are decorated by an original lithograph by Jorn printed in Paris. Front free end paper also decorated in colour textural reproduction. Jorn was a major figure in the Cobra Group founded in Paris in 1948 at the Café Notre-Dame on the Left Bank. He represented the Danish Harvest Group at the gathering.The Cobra group prioritized spontaneity of expression. Thus, the quick gestural pattern for the cover illustrates that doctrine.
