NIC
TUCKER
Nic
Tucker has the well earned reputation within
the world of photography as having what
they call a “good eye”. He has
the natural talent of being able to look
through the viewfinder and know whether
a good picture is there or not.
Over
the past few years, his travels have taken
him to remote and picturesque parts of the
world where he has recorded the images illustrated
here with the perception and sensitivity
of expression which has become the hallmark
of his work. Accordingly, his work has been
in demand by a huge range of corporate clients
such as Vogue and Harpers and Queen, the
New York Times, American Express and many
others. However, his photographs should
not been seen as mere illustration or documentation
because they have also been purchased by
public institutions and museums such as
the V&A, MOMA New York, Biblioteque
Nationale of Paris, and the National Museums
of Mexico and Bonn for their permanent collections
which definitely puts his work firmly in
the category of fine art.
